    Hi all,

somebody has experiences with taking a man to his room in a hotel /apartment hotel in turkey?

In europe that should not make any problems. And turkey is not morocco. There are no anti-gay laws in turkey.

I am thankful four your reports.

There wil be no problem, it's the most modern "islamfull:)" country... But they may ask you or him about identification...

What i do is simply basicly when im in Iran, Pakistan or Egypt,,,... tell to your guesthose or hotel reception that you are in there for Business meetings which you need to talk with your friends(business associates) privately in your room... it makes you feel better because you have an excuse , otherwise they may treat you like a FAG or you may get some unlikely looks which is irritating, smiles and gossips... Keep on going with your story, this will prevents the bad looks on their eyes...they may be suspicious but they will not do irritating moves on you...

Have fun, any questions, PM me:)

MC 92 and Mi cullo, I thank you for your answers.

I like to explain why I ask this question although I was in former times very often in Turkey. Last time (2007?) I was in Antalya in a holiday apartment and two times I invited somebody to my flat. It was no problem and at my last day when the landlord brought me to the airport it even came out that he himself was bi or gay (btw a familyfather with attractive wife and two cute kids).

The long years before I stayed always in typical holiday hotels and in my mind I was always convinced that you could not take someone to your room - or you really had to bribe the reception. Maybe in former years it was much stricter because of safety reasons (long history of conflicts with the PKK).

So normally I would always take an holiday apartment (like I always do in morocco), but at the moment for a shorter stay in Antalya I would prefer an apartment hotel. I learned from your answers that an apartment hotel or at least a big normal hotel would be ok.

MC92, by the way: I know this porn cinema very well and had some hot encounters there. Now I fantasize to invite a hot boy/man for a private porn dvd show in my apartment....

I know some hammans in Antaly but would be thankful for any advice because my last stay there was some years ago.

    Hello Again,

When i am in Antalya , I usually go to the small park across the street of "Selekler Pasaji" (it's a small mall, just write to google maps, you will find)..After 7PM, on the sea side very good view , it's great up at the rocks (Please be careful if you climb up to the rocky area, because there are no fences ect..)...There are stairs going down to Harbour, some action going on in there, but it's a bit freaky at night...There are some drunk people but it's generally safe. You can rent an appartment close to that area ... www.sahibinden.com is a good web site but in turkish:(...here is a link of a random appartment that i found : http://www.sahibinden.com/gunluk-kiralik/antalya-muratpasa (if you need assistance i can message them and arrange the place you want for sure, PM me:), you can find cheaper options in here, You need to search appartments close to "Kaleici" or "Carsi" area in Muratpasa distirict. Grindr works pretty well in Antalya too:))

    Have a great trip:)

    Hi Mi cullo,

thanks for your help and advice. I am not quite sure what park you mean - I think its called YAVUZ ÖZCAN PARKI and is opposite of the place where Cumhuriyet Caddesi change its name into Konyaalti Caddesi. Its not too far from old harbour, Tophane Parki and Cumhuriyet Meydani. I remember I sat there once and noticed men sitting around but was not sure if its a meeting place for men looking for sex.

The side with apartments was very interesting because the prizes seem to be very fair. I use normally english and german sites that give very detailed informations and photos about the apartements so that you really know what you will get. The disadvantage are the higher prizes.

I wish you and all others a Merry Christmas!

Definitely agree with Gabriel.  Not worth the hassle of worrying if your hotel will allow it or not.  Airbnb and Wimdu are good and there is also misterbnb as well so you know you are dealing with a gay/gay friendly homeowner.  I never had any problems bringing a guy to my apartment in Istanbul.
